You should know that the computer resolution is not the same as the TV resolution since computer resolutions are in pixels while TV resolutions are usually only around 500 lines of resolution. In addition, the TV video amplifiers cannot handle higher resolutions. Thus, you have to be satisfied with a maximum resolution of 640×480. But don’t lose hope because an HDTV adapter may be used to obtain higher resolutions. Just expect to make a higher investment on this.
