Other supplies that will be needed are markers, crayons, colored pencils, or anything else favored. There are many other places to purchase supplies also. At most stores, art supplies are not overly priced, depending on what exactly bought, of course. If buying professional paint supplies for highly developed it could be a little pricier than if buying art supplies for a project for school. It also depends on if the art supply is a certain brand name, some being more expensive than others.
There are different types of supplies, and it can be complicated to know which one suits the project the best. If you are painting something on a canvas you will need acrylic paints which can be somewhat more expensive. If the project is just painting something on a customary piece of paper or a poster board, there is no reason to buy expensive acrylic paints. There are also different size poster boards, its best to have the size needed so that there is no unnecessary changes made to the board when it turns out to be the wrong size.
Being prepared for projects makes everything so much simpler. Having to go to the store at the last second is such a pain.
