Also the Tampa Museum of Science and Industry hosts one of the few Diplodocus dinosaurs, the Sauropod, in it. These extinct creatures are known for their huge and massive bodies and extremely small brain size. They weighed about forty tons. As well, the Tampa Museum of Science has a wind tunnel that shows the force of a hurricane and a flight simulator. The flight simulator costs a few extra dollars on top of general admission.
The Tampa Museum of Science houses the largest children’s science center in the United States. With 40,000 square feet of dedicated space, the exhibit was designed by a board of 26 children between the ages of ten and seventeen, with the assistance of a panel of engineers and specialists to make the experience as positive and educational as possible while also being designed purely for kids by kids.
